Cuz we want to? Because discussion is generally a good thing. Because civil 
internet discussion can be enjoyable and interesting. I like hearing what 
people remember from the "old days". My ham radio "old days" date only to 
1994. And finally because discussion of something other than the code exam 
is especially welcome. If you don't want to participate do what you 
suggested others do.
