Well, I checked out Jozef's info on QRZ and he is
obviously an experienced CW op. I even have him in my
log and exchanged QSL cards with him. I also looked
over his web site which is an international newsletter
of topics of reflection and discussion. His posts here
are clearly not indicative of someone open to
discussion. I'm new to ham radio and only been doing
CW for 18 months but I get on the air every single day
and I know that QRL is very commonly used, including
by old timers who've been operating since long before
1963. If you don't want to use QRL but prefer to
listen for several minutes, that's fine, but to say
using QRL is poor operating practice is an insult to
those of us who strive to be good operators that do
use it.
