I have solved the problem by modifying and importing the comprehensive FISTS
membership list into my logging program. I set up dummy records for a date/time
well before my ham radio start date. The records show the call, name and FISTS
number (updated with CC numbers as they are received.) I add members as they are
notified in Key Note and the other FISTS newsletters.
When I enter a call for a station it tells me immediately if he is a FISTS
member. This is particularly useful when working well outside the FISTS calling
frequencies
Let me know if I can help anyone with an importable version of the full
membership list.
Vy 73 and HNY.
