I'll be listening though.  Probably on the Degen DE1103 with a whip 
antenna rather than the Signal/One, SX-100, or other boatanchor.

Sprint rules favor low-weight radios including receivers power supplies, 
keys, etc. but there's no penalty for the antenna.

If I can copy stations, maybe I can work a few in coming months using 
the DE1103 with my 1 watt QRP transmitter.
