[Fists] Coast to coast contest

Hello Fists,

In just 18 days it'll be time for the Annual Coast to Coast contest.
Thirteen Fists affiliated clubs have registered so far and more will be
registering as we get closer to the 30th. Don't know what the Coast to Coast
contest is? Here's a short explanation. You'll recall that contacts with a
Fists club counts 3 points toward FISTS awards. Regular fists members will
listen for "CQ C2C" and make a short contact with a Fists club. Clubs will
be the ones calling CQ C2C only. You'll exchange RST, SPC, (state,
province,DXCC entity), your first name and fists number (or power if not a

web page you'll see a link to a list of clubs that have registered. The
webmaster will be updating the list at

register. The contest runs from 11AM (PDT) Saturday Sept 30th to 11AM (PDT)
Sunday October 1st.

Please note: In the past, there have been a few "enterprising" individuals
who have posed as clubs calling CQ C2C in an effort to garner points for
fists awards. This is NOT endorsed by the Coast to Coast sponsors and can be
discouraged by only answering CQ's solicited by clubs. You can copy and
paste the above list easily and print it out and refer to it during the
event. Furthermore, they do not count in the scoring.
