FISTS Members:
Just a reminder that before the "Run For The Bacon" the Virginia QSO Party
will be on this weekend
from 1800 UTC Saturday ( 1 PM EST ) until 0200 UTC Monday ( 9 PM EST Sunday )
There are 95 counties in Virginia and 40 Independent Cities. Each of which
is a multiplier
Exchange is QSO Number and QTH
QTH is VA County or City for VA stations
QTH is State, Province or DX Country for others
I plan this weekend to operate mobile and hope, weather permitting, to
operate from the following locations:
Counties: Roanoke (ROA), Craig (CRA), Alleghany (ALL), Botetourt
(BOT), Rockbridge (RBR),
Amherst (AMH), Campbell (CAM), Bedford (BED),
Franklin (FRA)
Cities: Roanoke (ROX), Salem (SAX), Lexingtron (LEX), Buena Vista
(BVX), Lynchburg (LYX), Bedford (BEX)
You can work mobiles in each location on both modes and on all bands.
Most of my operations will be CW on 40, 20, 15 Meters - and 10 Meters if it
opens. I'll try some on 80 Meters during
the evening hours. Haven't yet figured out a mobile antenna for 160 Meters
- Hi !

Hope to work some of you. If you want my FISTS number, just ask for it
during our QSO.
