Hi David,

Nice to hear from you, and you have an interesting website!

The morse reading file I think that you're referring to is part of a suite
of codes, my ancient compiled QUICKBASIC teaching package. You, or anyone,
can download the zipped distribution from my page at

http://www.phy.auckland.ac.nz/Staff/geb/loads.htm

The link is near the bottom, called

<http://www.phy.auckland.ac.nz/Staff/geb/v71.zip>Morse teaching software,
DOS version 7.1.

But beware. While most of the programs will run under modern operaing
systems in a DOS window, the Reading program will NOT run under anything
more modern than Win95. It accesses the comport directly, and XP doesn't
let you do this. So it's only useful on older machines.

My more modern Delphi teaching software and some other stuff is on the same
page.

Yes, you can post it, but I give no guarantees, and don't support it any
longer. It's there for historical purposes. Someone, somewhere, may have
written a diagnostic program that reads from a key and plots graphs and
extracts statistics, but I don't know it. Nobody has ever answered my
queries as to how to implement a similar comport/audio monitor code in XP,
although someone must know how to do it.

Let me know what you decide?
