I received 10 SASE's from Luis - TI2CLX and sent him an Email advising him I had received them.

Thought you folks would want to know his need for QSO's and QSL's - So here's a copy of his reply:

I just got my novice (class C) license last octuber
after passing a written exam and a "live" QSO exam
(phone mode).

In Costa Rica, we have to collect 50 QSL cards,
diplomas or certificates, present our 1 year logbook
and pass another exam to advance to class B.  And
later, 100 QSL cards and another exam to class A.

When I get my class B license I'll look for you, in the 
mean while, I'm busy getting up to speed on 40m only.

The QSO with N4EC was my first QSO ever after passing
my exam.  I even delayed my first phone QSO to do it
first in CW.  I want to use CW as my primary mode of
operation.

I see you have just one card on hand for N4EC.  I hope
I don't have to wait too long for him to receive it
and confirm back.  HI.

quickly.

Be on the lookout for Luis and have a QSO with him and send your 
card to me and we'll get him set up for his Class B license.
