many thanks for that link! Very enjoyable to hear a Jean Shepherd 
program. I like to say I learned my CW from Jean, but that's not exactly 
correct. Years ago "Now You're Talking" came with a cassette with code 
lessons to get you through the 5 wpm test, and it was narrated by Jean 
Shepherd. He spoke a few words of encouragement at the beginning and at 
different points in the tape. His voice really relaxed me, and that tape 
was all I needed to pass the exam. I loaned the tape out years ago to 
someone else who was just starting out, but I can still hear his last 
words on the tape: "Concentrate, heheh, concentrate..." Best advice I 
ever had for learning the code.
