Going on the road again.
Or, better put, in the air again to get on the air!

This coming Sunday Nov 20 six of us are leaving Detroit to go to
Halifax and on to St Pierre Island.  Then the next day we are going
on to Miquelon, the northern island of the Saint Pierre & Miquelon
Islands.  The main purpose is for the CQ WW CW contest the following
weekend.

So ... to carry on the tradition that I started with the first trip
to C6A in 1997, I will be on the air the Thursday before the contest,
QRP, about 0100Z for at least two hours.  The band of choice is 40M
and we will be feeding two HF2V's broadside to the US & Europe.  The
radio will be a K2.

So I'll be on 40M Thursday evening (Thanksgiving, in the US) Nov 24
Local Time starting about 9-11PM EST.  Or Nov 25 about 0100-1300Z.
Looking for QRP QSO's.  I'll hang in there until there are no more
callers, no more beer, or I fall asleep!

The call will be PF/K8DD
You don't have to be QRP, but I will be, and if you send your FISTS
number, I'll respond with mine.
