a guy called wanted to sell me a 2 mts base i needed one for work so i said 
ok. when he got here said he bought an old key at a yard sell about 15 
years ago for 10 bucks. said it had two knobs on it and if i wanted it with 
the radio he would take 25 bucks for it. i said ok what he showed up with 
was a vibroplex j-36 serial number 285 in very good shape. boy did i fall 
into it friday with this key. has two weights and the cord. i think it is 
around 1942 . but now i have a # 6 lighting bug to play with.
going to start cleaning it up this week. i was surprised with the low ser 
number. anyway i have smiled all weekend.
