[Fists] Postage increase

Fellow FISTS members:

You may have heard there is a postage increase which will take effect on 
January 8, 2006.

On the FISTS QSL Bureau web site there is a new item:

	The Postal Service has done it again - New Rates effective January 8, 2006.

The New Rates are described further on the "Postal Rate" web page.  Here's 
the first couple paragraphs on that page:

QUOTE
Well they've done it again - raised the one ounce rate to 39 cents for 
mailing to locations within the United States.
It becomes effective on January 8, 2006.  The postcard rate will increase 
from 23 cents to 24 cents.  And it appears
the "additional ounce" rate step will increase to 24 cents.  So, the two 
ounce rate will be 63 cents, the three ounce
rate is 87 cents, the four ounce rate is $1.11, the five ounce rate is 
$1.35, Etc.

We will be needing to get a bunch of 2 cent stamps to add to existing 
SASE's we have on hand.

The Postal Service has advised that the International Rates will be 
"adjusted to coincide with the domestic rate
changes".

Don't know yet how much the International Rates are increasing, so I'll 
have to revise the web page again when I find out.

Also the increase will require changing a few items on the Beginner's Guide 
to the QSL Bureau.

Hopefully we can provide the up-to-date information in a "Revised" 
Beginner's Guide in the Keynote Reference Issue 1 2006.
