Yes Yes Yes! Run, don't walk to get one. I have had one of these gems
for over a year now and absolutely LOVE it. In about four weeks I
raised my copy speed from around 13 to well over 25 and am still
climbing.

THE GOOD
So portable, you can use an earphone and practice 'head copy' anywhere,
and without disturbing anyone. This means while driving, waiting for
your kids or spouse while shopping, etc, on an airplane. Being able to
do this, even for 5 minutes a day will drive up your speed quickly. The
trick is to 'meld' your code practice into your routine day, not just a
dedicated time. If you're like me, dedicated ham time is better spent
on the air.

The batteries last forever.

It's fun!

THE BAD:
A little pricey, but you DO get what you pay for.

It's small, and since you'll be using it everywhere, there's a bigger
chance of losing it. I did, but I'm replacing it.

SUGGESTION:
I found that the LCD display is not useful except for CONFIGURING it. I
found that using the display to 'check' your copy is downright
destructive to your progress because you're always tempted to look to
see if you 'got it right'. Well, by then, more code's gone by and
you've lost the flow. Not what you want to do. Train your brain to
accept what it hears and move on. DON'T get the display model unless
you make a deal with yourself to not use it this way. In fact when I
replace my lost one, this time I won't get the display model.

SUMMARY:
Excellent quality, VERY useful, very fun, very cool!

Darrell W4CX
