Nancy sent a message on May 2nd about an event that will take place on
the 28th and 29th of May.

The mailing list seems to be working FB. Are you talking about the
fact that her message is timestamped at 12:47pm and you received it at
11:49am on the same day? Just looks like a mail server in a different
time zone to me.
