What we need to do here and its going to take a little work, is get letters
from your agencies that do use amateur radio for emergency back up comms. If
you are getting interference from a system, you also need to document what
the providers are doing about it. Forward this information to the FCC via
way of a comment and attachments, also to the politicians in your area. Time
is running out, don't expect your neighbor to do it for you. This is
everybody's fight. If some of you have close working relationships with your
electrical providers by all means meet with them, Back up your statements
with information already on the web. I have done this already and they  said
the providers sure paint a pretty picture of the system, but neglected to
inform them of the ugly side. As a result one utility here stated that the
powerlines here are going to be used for only one thing POWER!
