Move on to what?? This is the most activity that has been on the reflector
for months. This is a very explosive and emotional topic and is bound to bring
out the best and worst of a lot of folks. I think these exchanges are good for
the organization as a whole. It just shows that there are a lot of members and
prior members who are dissatisfied with one thing or another. Would you
extinguish the discussion just because it disturbs you ?? I for one am surprised
that the discussion has gone as long as it has WITHOUT the inputs from the self
appointed reflector police who usually show up and tell posters what to say
and what not to say. I have experience with these "holy men" who will even chew
you out in private e-mails because they don't agree with your stance or
something you posted. I think it's great to get it all out. After all, we are not a
bunch of idiots sitting around smiling stupidly as we lovingly caress our keys
and send CW, happy and secure in the knowledge that we are "CW'ers" and far
above the rest of the rabble. It also shows that we are not all sheep, and
willing to follow the ludicrous information that the ARRL puts forth at times.
Discussion is good, and, after all, if you don't care for it, just delete it. No
one is FORCING you to read it. And contrary to popular belief, there are not
thousands of non-hams, or NCI members, or non-code ham types, or anyone else
for that matter, reading this reflector. 73......
