The only solution for ARRL is to stay members and VOTE.  Not only vote, =
but also recruit candidates that are pro-technical standards and who =
understand how CW skill helps to promote those technical skills (think =
QRP and homebrewing circuits, listening skills, operating prowess).

Most Directors' races are UNOPPOSED!  We need to find replacements for =
the Directors - election by election.  The directors up for election =
this year are in the following divisions

Pacific=20
Rocky Mountain=20
Southeastern=20
Southwestern=20
West Gulf=20

So, anyone in these Divisions have suggested candidates to run against =
the current Director?  Any of these directors worth re-electing? =
(Southeastern Div. comes to mind).

Look over the list of existing Sec. Managers or other ARRL officials, =
create a short list of the pro-technical ones in each Division, and =
thenn contact them to see if they will run against the Director on a =
pro-technical skills (possibly even pro-Fists petition) platform.

We could promote a roster of candidates here.

Let's show our strength not only by our voting numbers, but also by our =
lack of apathy!
