AMEN, Dan.

You know, I love Morse Code.  I think it has a value in our hobby (yes, It's
a HOBBY).  I also think it has a value as a personal discipline.  However,
our HOBBY is multi-faceted.  We have have tremendous swaths of spectrum that
are devoted to many different modes of operation, not just CW.  We  NEED
devotees of all these modes and interests to both further the radio art and
occupy the spectrum we have, thereby protecting it.  References to fellow
hams in obscene or belittling ways is both inappropriate and wrong.

Really ashamed of this kind of behavior.  I am sure that those who would
love to take away our spectrum just love to see us behaving this way.  It
helps make their case!

I suggest we refrain from name-calling and denigrating the SSB hams.  We
NEED them to make our case for preserving the ham frequencies with
governmental bodies.  There just aren't enough of us CW ops to carry
clout with the powers that be.  United we stand; divided we fall,
