[Fists] Coast to Coast

Hey Gang,

Finally subscribed to the FISTS List. Just got back from camping near
Bishop, CA on White Mountain at 7000' with the K1 at 5 watts and a 88'
EDZ antenna. Was a lot of fun! No Coast to Coast on this trip, but best
DX was Chicago on 20 meters. Had a nice QSO with John K7FD in Seal Rock,
OR (that Quad and K2 combo works FB John!) and also Jess WS0L in
Peyton,CO operating as KN0WCW. Had around 10 rag chews and also checked
into the Western States QRP CW net (Saturday mornings at 9:00 pacific
time) on 7.040. I'll be putting up a web page soon with pictures of
White Mountain. Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day Weekend!
