[Fists] 30m, anyone??

It's a chicken'n'egg problem to some degree. Few go there, because they
think no one else does.

I find it an interesting band also, though I never go there looking for
FISTS. It's a nice mix of nighttime band (40) and DX band (20). Seems to
often have a surprise in store. You don't need your dipole up 66' to get a
decent angle of radiation, either. Although 30 always seems to be the
hardest band to pull in with low SWR on all-bander wire. It's the only one I
get even a hint of RF on with my doublet.

Will try to give a listen for you guys.

I've worked you before, Dan.  We could do it again if you
want, but NW Illinois to Ann Arbor might be a little short
for 30m nighttime.

I've only got two stns on 30m:
W0SZF Verle NE 3/5/02
K4BX/QRP Bill TN 1/24/03

As you can see I don't have much luck there myself,
but it could be a great band if there were more activity.
They do not have contests on 30, 17, or 12, so that
would make them good for the weekends.
