Well, don't feel alone. I have rcvd QSL cards from ops that were really 
damaged, and got reports from others the same with mine. I believe it is the 
mechanical sorting machines. I now try to send almost 100 percent with an envelope 
instead of just the bare card. I have even gotten a little plastic bag back 
from the P.O. full of mouse nesting material, that the sorter had round up, but 
they could still make out the return address. The sport of QSLing is gettin 
expensive anyway, without the P.O. grinding them up. It makes the FISTS buro 
benefit even more valuable to us members.................Al/W8FAX/2192
