Gentlemen:
We are forgetting that the thing that "Drives The Train" is MONEY.!! 
Remember the old
saying, "Money Talks, and Bullsh** Walks". That is the case with the 
push to eliminate code.
The Big Manufacturers will not have to just sell the little two meter 
portables and two meter
mobiles to the "no codes" and "Tech Plus Walmart Licensees" but now 
would be able to
sell them ICOM 756 PRO's and Kenwood TS2000 and Yaesu FT1000D's. That's what
it's all about guys and gals. We are shovelling against the tide, so 
enjoy it while you can.
Now, we can lookforward to a QSO where they say to us "10-4 good buddy" 
and "What is
your personal?".  I can hardly wait, hi hi.
