I have a Hallicrafters SX-140 that I want to sell, (as it is).

I must be honest to say that the radio needs "good hands over it".

The radio is clean outside and inside(that means it is not rusty in any
place)

It does works (which means it turns on and audio is heard)

Radio however, and I must play the gentleman's game, it needs a good
 refurbishing:

I got this radio from a local ham.

This gentleman had it painted on a clear green paint which is not its
original color.

Power meter was removed and a different meter was used instead.

One or two knobs are not original.

Audio is distorted.

 Dial turns from side to side but has no indicating arrow.

 I have two other Hallicrafters radios on my vintage broadcast radio
collection (none of them for sale) A S53 and a S38 both in mint
conditions. The point is that the SX-140 is mostly for the ham band and for
ham rigs, I
 already have quite a few.

 I have been sincere regarding the condition of the radio however, if anyone
feels he/she could make out of this radio a good restoration project please
