[Fists] Lake Erie Swing

Hi. I have heard this term, or perhaps Great Lakes Swing,  used to
describe a certain style of CW keying and have never fully understood
what it refers to. Since I live with a mile or two of Lake Erie in
Western New York State, I may in fact be afflicted with this syle of
keying and not recognise it for what it is.

Can anyone on the list advise what the term means and possibly any
history that goes along with it.
