TR log version 6.70 worked great in the Sprint. I entered the exchange as
outlined in the rules -- RST  STATE  NAME  FISTS NR. The only thing that is
yet to be worked out is the scoring because of the way the Sprints handle
multipliers. I don't believe there is another contest that scores
multipliers the way the Sprint does. This makes it difficult, perhaps
impossible, for logging programs to accommodate.

I have been using TR for several years and really like it. You can use it
with a boatanchor computer and it performs flawlessly. Each new version of

Here are the current revision notes as they pertain to the Sprint.

Version 6.70 - released 10 July 2002

 - Have FISTS Sprint now logging properly. Multiplier counting does not
   work. The score will only show QSO points with no mults counted.
   Exchange checking needs improvement. I hope to refine this more for
   the Fall sprint.
