(I will interject right now that I do NOT know where he stands - clearly he
thinks I DO understand... I think it is just a generic reply) (I do not
recall any previous discussions with him on the whole issue - none that
touched on these matters. He makes it sound like he is against the grain,
but if so, it is beginning to appear certain he is on the minority side of
the table.)

By the way, this site hops all day long when something hot comes up. How do
any of you get anything done. Do you all have occupations that allow you to
watch the computer e-mail from dawn til bedtime? I am retired and cannot get
anything done here, if I sit and watch this screen. I hardly have time to
enter the ham shack, and I am RETIRED. .. just curious and am making no
assumptions. I assume we all have things to do in our lives, and that we
sleep, and that it is not logical that either can be dispensed with in favor
of riding the web, unless those activities suffer. The postings except from
ZL and VK land, are all in the daytime here in the east. Is everyone on here
retired? By everyone, I mean the ones who have been posting all day so far,
and those who posted all day yesterday. Just curious. I need to be educated
in how to fit this into my daily activities without interfering with same.
:-) Back to paying bills and sorting medical forms and collecting up the
trash for set-out. No computer in those locations. :-)

I got basically the same response from the great lakes division director
except he only sent a two line reply, thanks for your opinion was about
it. It reminded me of the time I went before the city tax tribunal here
after stating my mind the city council looked at me and more or less
said, thank you for that presentation now shut the hell up and pay the
full amount on your way out. It sure seems that some of the stupid
things the league has done in the past and lately that they apparently
have no interest in amateur radio
