Ok,
I really appreciate the responses I've gotten from the posting of
my observations, thoughts, questions. Here, I will sum up what I
have been told, or what I thought I was told.
1) BK - used to turn over the frequency to the other operator in
the QSO, as a fast "over-to-you", and used at the beginning of my
transmission when I "ack"noweldge the fast turn over. Thus: me,
"... is cold here. BK", the other op, "BK C C it is not cold here,
glad I moved from there. BK", me, "BK dont rub it in. well, got to
go. 73 sk de nw7us cl"
Did I get that right?
2) I'm not REALLY too busy to do CW. I just have to rearrange my
stress-induced priorities in a day! I need to find better balance.
3) FISTS is a group of folks who like CW. Each with personal a
personal agenda, or perhaps with a lack of an agenda. It is not a
standards committee nor a political organization. When you have
worked a FISTS member, you've worked a friend. I have many
friends. Some just don't know what QRS means.
4) There are more lurkers on this reflector than posters. But,
"use it or lose it" does not apply to email. :)
