Hello FISTS,

Happy New Year.  There is a major hamfest in Miami every year
(10,000-12,000 attending) and I wonder if any FISTS members would like
to meet there either Saturday or Sunday for an eyeball.  It is held on
the first weekend in February (2-3) and most major manufacturers are
showing off their new gear for 2002 http://www.hamboree.org.  If you are
interested in a lunch/eyeball please email me privately and I will put
something together.

If you are planning a vacation trip down to South Florida and would like
to do some shopping/selling ham gear, there is a second major hamfest in
Orlando, Florida (10,000 attending) also with a very large tailgate area
on the weekend following the Miami hamfest (February 8,9,10)
