Sure it does, Kathy!  I think any chauvinism in the original message was
CW Chauvinism, not male chauvenism.  Personally, I know quite a few
"real radio men" who don't know (Or at least don't use) Morse code.
Their contributions in the areas of technology and operating are
valuable on their own.  I like CW, but it's not the sine qua non for a
"real radioman."

And while we're on the topic of gender and ham radio, I can't think of a
single black ham radio operator in my circle of acquaintances.  Are we
doing something to make everybody but older white males stay away from
our hobby?
