Hope you all had a very pleasant holiday and Santa was good to each and 
everyone.
Recently ARRL released the results of a survey they done on the Novice bands. 
This was released via the ARRL newsletter. According to them almost (note 
keyword ALMOST), and they state nearly 50% or nearly 49% no exact figures, 
prefer doing away with the Novice CW bands and extending the phone bands into 
that portion. The way that I am reading it is that they are totally ignoring 
the majority of Amateurs, which more than likely falls into the CW and 
Digital people that operate on these bands. I guess it all depend who is 
reading the numbers.
