[FieldDay] Software/Public location questions

Hello Greg,
I do believe your location would be considered "public" as the "public" can
come and go at will.
For software, you should check out http://www.n3fjp.com and download his
free Field Day Contest log. It only allows 30 contacts if unregistered but
registration is only $6 for the standalone version and $10 for the networked
version. Unfortunately, it is only Windows compatible but since it runs
with any version of Windows since Win95, it should run in any Windows
emulator. I have used this fine logging software for the past 7 years and
absolutely love it!

Subject: [FieldDay] Software/Public location questions
Well I'm sure everyone's preparing for Field Day. I had a couple of
questions.
1) Is there any good software that's cheap/free (maybe mac compatible)
that can be used?
2) My group's setting up at a campground this year. It's outdoors, and
people are allowed to come in and visit campers (not gated or
restricted). Would this qualify as a "public location" under rule 7.3.3?
Good luck to everyone this year!
