Simple, Just place a 2 x 4 across a few of the rungs of the tower
a few feet below the top of the tower to serve as a surrogate rotor
plate. Fasten either a post or a cup to the 2 x 4 to hold the mast
in the center of the tower. This of course is assuming that you
have the style of tower top that has the tube the mast can rotate
inside of. Be sure to fasten the 2 x 4 to the tower rungs so it can't
move. Also you should have at least as much mast inside the
tower as you have above it.
To rotate the antenna tie a rope to the front of the lower boom at
the director to drag the antenna around. We have used one of those
spiral screw dog run anchors for the "rotor rope" anchor. A heavy
block can work too.
