Hi Jim,

Another little trick I use on all my power equipment when I don't plan to run 
it again for awhile:  In addition to Sta-Bil, I pull the choke and start it 
again until it dies from a total lack of fuel.  If there is a bowl drain, I 
use that as a final effort, but rarely get even a drop. Works great and i 
always get an instant start the next year.  My snow blower hasn't been run in 
5 years, last weekend, it started after 2 revolutions of the electric 
starter!
