Hi folks,

If you plan to come out to Harrison Lake State Park and operate under the K8BXQ call, a couple of things to note as we attempt to operate from multiple locations within the park:

  1. We are switching to a cloud-based logging software this year.  It is the same software we used last year, but it will be out in the cloud, meaning you will need internet access from your station/laptop to connect. (i.e., I will not have local wifi there).
  2. You will need a device that can connect to the internet.  This is easily done with a smartphone and enabling wifi hotspot mode. Then you can use any laptop or tablet to connect to the https://k8bxq.org/ospota/ website to log your contacts and avoid duplicates.
  3. Last, please RSVP back to me so I know who is setting up, and I can get your unique login to the software created.
