70th Birthday of FCARC was celebrated 9/7/24 at Harrison Lake State Park, North Shelter House during OSPOTA.
To better accommodate members who have early morning commitments
October Ham and Coffee (portable HF) will be held Saturday October 12, 1030am to 1:00pm at the York Township Park, SW Corner of County Road 10 and E.
FCARC 2024 Winter Hamfest will take place Saturday December 7 at Ruihley Park Pavilion
2024 Christmas Party will be held at Wauseon Rotary Club Saturday December 28 at 6:00PM
Various locations for 2025 Hamfests are discussed, including AMVETS in Delta, American Legion in Wauseon, VFW in Wauseon, and other suggestions. No decisions have been made.
Wauseon Christmas Parade will occur Saturday November 23 at 7:00PM. Help is requested. Please meet at the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce at 6:00 PM.
Dyer McDermott Building. Partnership with Crosley Automobile Club: FCARC 51%/Crosley 49%. Crosley not a 501C3. Many grants available in Fulton County. Complete support of the city (of Wauseon). No money would be needed for purchase. FCARC 501C3=no taxes. Electricity ~$75/month now. Four County Career Center construction trades could complete interior renovations. Crosley Automobile Club Foundation/Wauseon Area Foundation. Questions: building inspected? Asbestos? Lead paint?
Proposed FCARC Scholarship: Nelles Roth College Scholarship for Electronics. ~$500/year. 50/50 raffle to fund? Will continue to discuss.
VE updates: Mike Kwiatkowski KE8YUJ attained Extra Class, Will Breneman KF8BVC attained General Class, and Tony Eich KF8CCG attained Technician Class. Congratulations!
