8/19/24: The meeting was called to order at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 7:30 pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG). 24 members and guests were in attendance, introductions were made and the Pledge of Allegiance was given by all.

70th Birthday of FCARC will be celebrated 9/7/24 at Harrison Lake State Park, North Shelter House during OSPOTA. Volunteers requested to help set up at 8:00am. Good learning opportunity.
Dyer McDermott Building. Tour prior to tonight’s meeting. Partnership with Crosley Automobile Club: FCARC 51%/Crosley 49%. Crosley not a 501(c)(3). Many grants available in Fulton County. Complete support of the city (of Wauseon). No money would be needed for purchase. FCARC 501(c)(3)=no taxes. Electricity ~$75/month now. Four County Career Center construction trades could complete renovations. Crosley Automobile Club Foundation/Wauseon Area Foundation. Questions: building inspected? Asbestos? Lead paint?

KB8ELG discussed dues, proposing $25/year (~$2/month). Free membership for anyone under 18 years old. $10 increase will cover FCARC equipment insurance through ARRL. 51% of FCARC members need to be members of ARRL for FCARC to be an ARRL club. Motion to amend by-laws for FCARC dues to be $25/year by KE8ITJ and WB8ZOI. Approved
Williams/Defiance County Trunk Sale at Williams County Fairgrounds 4/12/25. Inside/outside. $10/table. Rent for facility: $125, proposed split three way between Williams/Defiance/Fulton County Amateur Radio Clubs.

Proposed FCARC Scholarship: Nelles Roth College Scholarship for Electronics. ~$500/year. 50/50 raffle to fund? Will continue to discuss.

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 10:00 am the last Saturday of each month at the Wauseon Administration Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567.
