Ok gang, we are planning our next Saturday morning Ham and Coffee POTA event. We will be activating Harrison Lake (K-1956), on Saturday, October 21st, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.  We have been talking about this all year and we haven't gotten around to doing this so this will be when we have our memorial to our club's silent keys. As always, there will be breakfast available, as well as coffee and orange juice. We will be operating multiple stations on 40m, 20m, 15m, 2m, and a station for FT8 for those who might want to see how digital works, or if you already understand it, have a chance to run the station. Everyone is welcome to come out and run a rig or just see what POTA is all about and hang out. You don't need to bring any equipment. We will have everything you need to run a station. What we are asking for, is pictures with names and call signs of those you would like to have remembered on that day. We will be posting this in advance, to our social media platforms, as well as the POTA Facebook page, paying tribute to those people who came before us and helped make this club possible, Elmered us, were friends, and/or family. For those who are already active in the POTA program, this is also, Support Your Parks weekend. We will be working to also get the club it's activator and hunter award for that weekend. If you're are unable to attend, please try to find us on the bands and give us a shout and pay tribute to our silent keys. Thank you for your continued support.
