Good Afternoon -

I have been in texting contact with Scott W8AKY from Adrian, he's been 
staying with his father since the fire at his home, and they don't have 
extensive antennas to work with from there so he isn't on the repeater 
down here.

He asked me to pass along that his good friend Bill Rohweder WB8HF from 
Adrian passed away yesterday - he had been diagnosed with leukemia a 
while back, and had been told a week or so ago that this time was 
coming, and it has.  I'll google the name and try to find if there are 
any plans for visitation or whatever. Bill was the taller skinny guy 
that would bring Scotty along to the local hamfests, in case you might 
remember seeing them in the past few years.  Anyway, another SK to pass 
along . . .

This is a new email address, all of our Embarqmail suffixes will be 
going away here in the next month or so, as we get all of our online 
personal information changed over - this one has been changed on QRZ 
already so it you forget it just search my callsign and hover over the 
email link.

Simplex Net tonight at 8 pm, 146.460 as usual, so we'll hope for some 
good signal conditions for the net.
