1/27/25: The meeting was called to order at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 7:01 pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG). 15 members and guests were in attendance, introductions were made and the Pledge of Allegiance was given by all. 

Silent Key: none

Members in Distress: W8TUX continued treatment. KE8BHW recovering from open heart surgery, in attendance tonight. Bev Walworth in SNF. Jan’s mother recovering from surgery.

Corrections to Minutes from Previous Meeting: none

Treasurer's Report: reported by Jan Tropf. Balance and deposits reported.

Receipts from Winter Field Day presented. Motion to approve from KE8BHW/WB8ZOI. Approved

Storage bag for place setting storage, and event journal. Motion to approve purchase from KE8ITJ/KE8UJA. Approved.

Patio heater x2. Motion to approve purchase from KE8ITJ and KC8PCU. Approved.





Annual club dues for 2025 will be $20 per members over 18 years old. No charge for members under 18 years old. Email communications will be sent to members only. 
Proposed bylaws updates discussed, including benefits of membership. Lifetime memberships have never been in FCARC bylaws. 
Summer/Winter Hamfest. The Delta American Legion Post No. 373. Various discussion ensued.

Involvement with ARES. Collaborating with KA8VBR. 

N5XDM. Planning for practical exercise.

VE testing: Congratulations to KE8RCK for upgrading to General! Congratulations to KF8DGO for attaining Technician!

2025 Christmas Party. Build into the annual budget? Catered? White Elephant? Raffle? Kids Activities?

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 10:00 am the last Saturday of each month at the Wauseon Administration Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567. Contact Sandra Schwind KE8UTX if interested. Her email address can be found on the k8bxq.org website under the VE Testing section.


Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta, OH.


The next regular club meeting will be 2/17/25 7:00PM at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567. 

A motion to adjourn was made by KC8HDG and seconded by KE8VFR all were in favor.  KB8ELG closed the meeting at 8:26pm
