4/21/25: The meeting was called to order at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 7:05 pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG). 15 members were in attendance in-person and virtually via livestream, introductions were made and the Pledge of Allegiance was given. 

Silent Key: none

Members in Distress: Jan Tropf– house fire. WD8ZOI recovering from a procedure. KE8BHW recovering from a procedure. N5XDM mother-in-law arm fracture, KD8KBU mom emergency surgery.

Corrections to Minutes from Previous Meeting: none

Treasurer's Report: reported by Jan Tropf. Balance and deposits reported. Motion to approve finance report: N5XDM and W8TUX. Approved. Receipt for food expenses for FCARC Field Deployment Practice 4/12/25. Motion to approve by KE8UJA/N5XDM. Approved.

Updated by-laws to be submitted to ARRL.

FCARC Field Deployment Practice (formerly Ham and Coffee) was held Saturday April 12, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Oak Openings. HF FT8, CW and voice. Great successes, including passersby interested in ham radio. You’re Invited cards were passed out to people interested. Next Field Deployment Practice will be held 5/10/25 8:30am-1130am, location TBD. 

ARRL NVIS 4/26/25

Jan Tropf requested help with upcoming events in Wauseon May through September. Will continue to discuss. 

Summer Hamfest. The Delta American Legion Post No. 373. Various discussion ensued, including ability to set up the night before. 

N5XDM is Repeater Trustee. Repeater Trustee assigns control operations. If any member would like to have repeater codes, please contact/send an email to N5XDM.

Adrian ARC meeting 4/28/25 at 7:30 PM.
Williams County ARC will set up a portable demonstration for ARRL Amateur Radio Day 4/22/25 at NW State Community College 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 10:00 am the last Saturday of each month at the Wauseon Administration Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567. Contact Sandra Schwind KE8UTX if interested. Her email address can be found on the k8bxq.org website under the VE Testing section.


Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta, OH.


The next regular club meeting will be 5/19/25 7:00PM at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567. 

A motion to adjourn was made by W8TUX and seconded by KE8WRF all were in favor.  KB8ELG closed the meeting at 8:37pm
