 Please note corrections to meeting minutes. My apology

7/17/23:The meeting was called to order at Fulton County Museum and WelcomeCenter, 8848 State Hwy 108, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 7:30 pm by BryanPatterson (KB8ELG). 23 members were in attendance, introductions weremade and the Pledge of Allegiance was given by all.

SilentKey: none

Membersin Distress: Concern about KC8ROU. KE8OKA reaching out. KD8KBU's dadis struggling with a brain bleed. KC8QFS and his wife Wanda were inan MVA, incurring fractures. 

Correctionsto Minutes from Previous Meeting: none

Treasurer'sReport: presented.

   -    
 Bills/Income to present: $119 to KE8OKA for outreach supplies. KB8ELG batteries: $75.06. KE8BHW furring strips $45.31.

FCARCradio equipment:

   -    
 FCARC has obsolete HF radio equipment.

 Equipment donation received from Delta. Good radios, two need batteries replaced. KB8ELG bought the batteries for $37.53 each.  

Groupintroductions to new members: KE8WRF and KE8YDW.

RepeaterMaintenance: KB8ELG is acquiring quotes. DX Engineering suggested wetalk to Bridgecom for duplexers. 

VE/EducationCommittee: one new Technician Class, two new General Class, one newExtra Class. 

StoringClub equipment: repeater shed. KE8BHW, WB8ZOI, KC8PCU installedfurring strips. Level 3 security lock being installed by KB8ELG. Newsteel siding donated by KE8QJV. Roof is in good shape. Buy enclosedtrailer? Will continue to discuss. 

Bud'sMidnight Madness: Awaiting KC8ROU return to running the net. KB8QJFand K8CAG have been Net Control. Sometimes unable run Friday nightsper personal schedules. 

SummerField Day: 4th Saturdayin June at the Woodlot. 10A club. Total score: 4790 points which isthe highest in club history.

NextFox Hunt 7/23/23. Meet at the Fulton County Museum and WelcomeCenter, 8848 State Hwy 108, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 1:30. Will deploy at2:00PM. Frequency 146.46. KE8QJV is Fox. Winner will determined bymileage. 

Swantonfireworks 7/1/23 5:00 PM. Went very well. We have been invited backand asked for help with other events. 

DeltaChicken Fest 7/15/23 1030. We have been invited back and asked forhelp with other events. Rain gear/water proofing radios/micsdiscussed.

MonthlyPOTA activation monthly using FCARC call sign. Next: August 12 9:00to 12:00 PM. Our club is becoming known for successful contesting. 

OSPOTA:9/2/23 10:00-6:00PM (1400-2200 UTC). Harrison Lake State Park andother sites. 

OhioQSO Party: 8/26/23. Participate?

N5XDMdiscuss HR4006 proposed by Bill Johnston District 6 OH et al re:HOA/antenna restrictions. 

W8VECdiscussed Winlink: email system which uses RF on VHF/HF. Gateways inthis area? Ft Wayne, Ann Arbor. Present a class? Will continue todiscuss. 

Echolink:KE8ITJ has hardware on the way. 

KC8PCUdiscussed Munchbox food truck for club events. 

KB8QJF:QSL card featured in QST. 

WinterHamfest: Ruiley Park. Arrive time: 0800. Doors open at 0900.

2023Christmas Party: FCARC 2023 Christmas Party will be held at the BlueRibbon Diner in Wauseon.
