To those of us that work the AM nets on the weekends, this is one of the 
gentlemen that used to be there for the nets most all of the time, also 
the same gentleman that allowed us to invade his space on his personal 
property up by Sturgis MI for the boatanchor group meetings in the 
summertime.  To everyone else this is just another chance to remember 
folks that blazed the way for us younger radio geeks to get our feet wet 
listening and learning, so that we could emulate the better operators 
and keep the good faith in ham radio going.
