SO -

I was talking on the repeater this morning and had a small epiphany - I 
have pictures of Marv that I can share - to those of you who did not 
know him, please disregard - to those of us that do, save these and 
enjoy the memories...

Marvin and I went to A LOT of hamfests early on in my ham career, we 
spent a lot of time taking abuse from each other and dishing out more 
just to prove our points - he was still a decent guy who would try to 
help if he could, and had a lot of knowledge about older gear and things 
from the HF world that I wanted to know about back then.  When I saw the 
news yesterday I had to see the obituary and then sit back and reflect 
about just how many years we had known each other - the second pic I 
believe is from the Toledo Hamfest 2001 - I got licensed in 1991 and we 
met then - 30 years is a long time (to all the people I've know longer 
in this group, sorry for your luck...)

I'm still sad.
