Good Morning,
The NWS Indianapolis office in conjunction with the Indiana State Climate
office at Purdue will be hosting a couple of online CoCoRaHS training
webinars on May 7th. The first will be at 1 pm and the second at 6 pm EDT.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Each session will be the same and last
around 1 hour (so people only have to attend 1 session).
The training is free and intended for all ages, young and old. This is a
great STEM activity and would be great for kids. We are trying to get a
large audience and in turn hope to expand the number of observers across
the state.
More information and registration detail can be found online at:
https://www.weather.gov/ind/cocorahstraining
If you could share this as much as possible we would be very grateful.
The trainer for these sessions will be Sam Lashley. If you have any
questions or would like more information, please let Sam know. If this is
successful, we will try and do more of these.
Thanks!
Sam Lashley (sam.lashley at noaa.gov)
