[FCARC] Ham Radio Emergency preparedness drill in November.

Hi folks, we are targeting November 7th for this drill.

Who: FCARC club members and anyone interested in emergency communications
What: Practice deployment exercise
Where: In and around Fulton County and predetermined locations
When: November 7th, 2019
Why: This exercise allows us to better determine our capability for
providing emergency communications for the organizations in and around the
county if needed. The goal will be to check into the Net from your QTH at
8:00pm, then go mobile to a designated location and relay current weather
conditions from a high power mobile and low power HT.

I cannot stress this enough: coordinate with W8TUX and KB8ELG on your
intended location.  We are trying to select Emergency Service locations
such as Hospitals, Fire/EMS stations, and Police stations.  We need to make
sure we notify these authorities and obtain permission to temporarily check
in from their parking lots.
