2018 Fireworks Fest Postponed

SWANTON, OH- Village of Swanton officials have closely monitored the
forecast for Saturday June 30, 2018. Due to the extreme heat index, the
Village of Swanton will postpone the Fireworks Fest and will confirm a
rescheduled date as soon as possible.

Everyone at the Village of Swanton knows this annual tradition is an event
thousands of people in the community look forward to, however the safety of
our residents and community at large is paramount in making the decision to
postpone. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we reschedule
the event.

With the heat index forecasted to be near 110 on Saturday, the Village
reminds community members to follow some safety tips from the National
Weather Service.
