[FCARC] Reminder: OSPOTA is just 18 days away

September 8th is the 11th annual Ohio State Parks On The Air contest.  The
club will be activating Harrison Lake State Park under our club call sign
K8BXQ.  We will be at the Marzolf Shelter House around 9am to setup for the
10am kickoff.  The contest runs until 6pm local time.

We can usually run two rigs without causing too much interference, and
since we are trying to contact parks in the state, 80 and 40 are our best
bet.

We will have a small cookout for lunch around 1pm or so.  We'll figure out
some of the food tonight at the club meeting.  Please RSVP to me no later
then September 5 so I know how many hotdogs and burgers to pick up.

Looking at the planned activation, there are a few other state parks in the
area that do not appear to be activated, in case you are looking to go off
and do your own thing:

Kelleys Island
Middle Bass Island
North Bass Island
South Bass Island
Van Buren
