[FCARC] Field Day 2017

The woodlot is cleared out, the generator packed away (thanks KD8WSL), and
the rigs back to their respective homes.  We had a great weekend for Field
Day 2017 this year.  The weather was exceptional and band conditions were
decent for our current position in the solar cycle.  The participation was
notably down this year due to schedule conflicts, so some of our heavy
contest runners were not available for the weekend.

The club ran a 4A this year, with a variety of antenna systems and rigs.
Overall we had 358 QSOs for a total of 1,904 points with bonuses and
multipliers.   While not a record year for the club, we did pretty good at
the end of the day.

I look forward to your ideas and suggestions on how to improve the field
day experience for the club at the next meeting.
