[FCARC] Delta Chicken fest

Hello everyone, once again the time of year has come around for the annual Delta Chickenfest. We have been contacted to assist by  the festival director as well as the Delta Police chief & Fire dept. Chief  to assist with the Fireworks on Friday night, the 5k run Saturday afternoon, and the parade on Sunday. (I think they like us). We are to meet Friday evening by the restrooms by the pool. by no latter than 10PM. Then again on Saturday at the police dept.by 4:30 PM. And finally on Sunday by 1:15  PM for parade assignments. I know not everyone can be there to help, but I ask that if you at all can make it to all three or just one, PLEASE do so. As always bring an HT with extra charged batteries if you have them, as well as any safety vests you may have. I will be putting this info out on the several nets in the area. This really is a great opportunity for our club to shine. It would appear e have a better then good relationship with the local government agencies, and we should make every effort to maintain and improve them.
