[FCARC] Lockport 5k Run/Walk Reminder

** As a general reminder, the Lockport race is tomorrow!  We need about 8 people 
to effectively monitor the course.  If you have time or are planning on being 
there, please reply back to me.  Thanks folks, this is great PR work for the 
club and amateur radio, and is a great way to be involved with the community in 
general.


It's that time of year again!  The Fulton County Health Department has requested 
our assistance for this years Lockport 5k/10k Run & Walk at Goll Woods.

When: Saturday, October 4th, 2014, 9:15am
Where: Lockport Mennonite Church, Stryker, OH

Lockport Mennonite Church is located at the corner of Williams Co Rd 21/N and Co 
Rd I-25.

We need to meet at the church by 8:30am for assignments and setting up the base 
station.  The course is run on county roads through Goll Woods.  Things usually 
wrap up by 11:00am, sometimes sooner.  We have safety vests we'll bring along. 
If you bring an HT, make sure you charge up the night before otherwise you 
should be able to operate from your vehicles.  We plan to operate on 146.460 FM 
simplex.  If you need a HT, let me or KB8ELG know, although we usually bring spares.
